Our mission is to advance the promotion of black executives across the healthcare ecosystem
Designed to ready senior executives for enterprise-level C-Suite roles within the healthcare ecosystem and overcome the ‘hiding in plain sight’ phenomenon. Patterned after the highly successful Healthcare Board Initiative (HcBI), participants gain tools and techniques from industry experts and thought leaders along with key learnings from Black pioneers in executive leadership; to drive transformational change aligned with their organization’s DEI and ESG mission.
TLN research targeting senior leadership within the top 40 healthcare organizations demonstrated that black executives remain in their roles at the VP and Director levels 2x – 3x longer without promotion than their white counterparts. The “Hiding in Plain Sight” phenomenon in this context comes alive as more and more of qualified black executives, are overlooked for promotions within organizations.
