Khadeja Haye, MD, MBA, FACOG, is a proven leader and a 2020 Women in Leadership Award re-cipient. She lends her wealth of knowledge and skills to the company as national medical director of Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospitalist programs. Dr. Haye has extensive experience in manag-ing and onboarding OB/GYN hospitalist programs as well as in physician leadership development and training. Dr. Haye also has expertise in creating protocols/procedures to improve patient safety, tracking and improving quality measures and implementing drills/simulations.

Dr. Haye is a mentor for aspiring physicians. She provides shadowing and mentoring opportunities to undergraduate and medical students. Dr. Haye has a passion for addressing health disparities in obstetrical care and champions causes that promote health equity. She spearheaded the develop-ment of a training module focused on health disparities in Obstetrics that required completion by all TeamHealth OB/GYN Hospitalist. She also assisted in the development of a COVID-19 vaccination disparities and hesitancy resource articles.

She leads a team of Facility Medical Directors comprised of more than 60 percent female clinical leaders, and she is dedicated to promoting a diverse workforce. Dr. Haye is also a member of the TeamHealth Diversity and Inclusion Committee. 

Dr. Haye received her medical degree from Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia. She completed her residency at Emory University in Atlanta, where she later served on the faculty and worked in the private practice division of the OB/GYN department prior to becoming an OB/GYN hospitalist. Dr. Haye earned her MBA from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
