Noland Joiner

Noland Joiner has over 34 years of experience in various technology consulting and general operational management roles as a corporate executive, non-profit board member, educator, entrepreneur and executive coach. He specializes in driving process improvement and implementing a wide array of enabling technologies across multiple industries, which include healthcare, life sciences, financial services, insurance, higher education, manufacturing, government (e.g. public health and medicine), and consumer retail healthcare. Noland has proven experience in building high-performance teams, driving organizational effectiveness, implementing enabling technologies, facilitating change management, leading operational management, developing staff, cultivating leaders and nurturing profitable client relationships. 

Prior to joining Dell Technologies, Noland was an Executive Partner at Gartner, Senior Vice President of Healthcare and Life Science at CenturyLink, Chief Technology Officer for Healthcare and Life Sciences at MarkLogic, Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer at GE Healthcare, Principal and Central Region Practice Leader at Cap Gemini Consulting, and Regional Vice President of Consulting at Oracle Corporation. In addition, Noland has held several senior leadership and client-facing positions at IBM Global Services, Business Systems Engineering, Inc. (a company he co-founded), Deloitte & Touché, Andersen Consulting, and Unisys Corporation. 

Noland is a graduate of Tennessee State University with a bachelor’s degree in Applied Science. He earned a master’s degree from Northwestern University in Strategy & Management. Noland also attended Information Technology Executive Management Programs at the Massachusetts Institution of Technology and DePaul University. Noland received his executive coaching training from the Northwestern University Master’s Program of Learning and Organizational Change (MSLOC). While in the MSLOC Program, he completed a rigorous 12-month curriculum to receive his Executive Coaching Certification. He has also served as an adjunct professor for Information Technology in the graduate program for Systems Strategy & Management at Northwestern University and the Applied Technology Program at Illinois Institute of Technology. 

Noland has actively served the Chicago community as a Fellow for Leadership Greater Chicago, as a Trustee and Vice Chairman for Adler University, and through memberships in several organizations, including the Executives Club of Chicago. Noland’s career and education have enabled him to facilitate and drive transformation on an enterprise level in corporate environments, startup enterprises and non-profit organizations. He has proven himself to be insightful, understanding and effective through his commitment, dedication and long-standing track record of success.
